A confidential client is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to support the design, documentation, and delivery of custom power-distribution and electrical-control systems.
What you will do
- Produce one-line and three-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, control schematics, panel layouts, cable schedules, interconnect drawings, and related electrical documentation.
- Support the design and documentation of control panels, panelboards, switchgear, switchboards, skids, ePods, and custom electrical systems.
- Maintain Bills of Materials, revision-controlled engineering drawings, and production documentation.
- Partner with manufacturing and engineering teams on design changes, production support, and troubleshooting.
What you bring
- 4+ years of experience in electrical design, drafting, manufacturing design, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical, or comparable CAD tools.
- Knowledge of low- and medium-voltage power-distribution equipment and common components such as breakers, relays, contactors, transformers, terminal blocks, CTs/PTs, ATS, UPS systems, panelboards, and switchgear.
- Familiarity with UL 508A, NEC/NFPA 70, NFPA 70E, IEEE standards, and revision-controlled drawing environments is preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial automation, utilities, data centers, renewable energy, oil and gas, or mission-critical facilities is valued.
